Youth chess club —Zumba Clases for Kids

The ACFSJ organises a vast range of activities for francophone youth in the St. John's region

Chess Club for Kids

Chess Club for Kids :Tuesday January 16th, 3pm - 4.30pm

Come learn the basic rules of chess or challenge an experienced player!
This club is for kids of all ages who are interested in learning more about chess. The club meets in the library of the Centre des Grands-Vents. Experienced players who wish to share their skills with beginners are also welcome. Chess sets are provided.
Parents: Would you like to share your love of the game? We are always on the lookout for parent volunteers to help and encourage younger players.

Zumba Clases for Kids

Zumba classes are feasts of fitness-filled energy and fun, offering many sequences choreographed especially for children, with their favorite music like hip-hop, reggaeton and cumbia, among others. Parents love Zumba because of the effect it has on their children; it increases their concentration and confidence, while boosting metabolism and enhancing coordination.

Introduction to Floorball

Back in March.

For children aged 6 to 9 years old. Come learn to play this fun sport in a friendly atmosphere. Floorball is popular worldwide and bears a resemblance to hockey and soccer. For a brief demo of this sport, take a look by following this link:
