The French Community Center Library offer a wide range of resources in French, and have lots of activities all along the summer!

The Library and Community Access Programme of the Centre des Grands-Vents is a resource, not only for the students of the school, but also for francophones and the public at large of the region of St. John's.
In addition to a vast collection of books for adults, youth, and children, we offer a wide selection of films on DVD, certain music CD's and free access to the Internet.

Utilities for helping with languages

Le Grand dictionnaire terminologique (GDT) is a terminology database, it contains terms from specialty areas.
La Banque de dépannage linguistique (BDL) de l'OQLFp { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; } offers clear answers to common questions about spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, vocabulary, typography, acronyms, abbreviations and symbols, names, pronunciation, writing and communication. This database deals with issues of general language, the BDL is thus distinguished from le Grand dictionnaire terminologique, whose purpose is the definition and the French translation of thousands of technical and scientific terms.
TermiumPlus is a terminology and linguistic database that has over 3 900 000 terms in English, in French and in Spanish.
Le Trésor de la langue française informatisé (TLFi), is a French language dictionary.
