A rich program
National Canadian Film Day 150 is enthusiastically supported by its spokesperson, young actress Sophie Nélisse (Monsieur Lazhar, La voleuse de livres), whose undeniable charm and talent are recognized around the world. On April 19, Québec Cinéma will have a presence in more than 65 cities and towns across Canada, an unprecedented single-day reach for the organization. The program of films was selected to appeal both to the general public and to schools. Each screening will include three films: one from Quebec, one Franco-Ontarian film and one indigenous production, reflecting our country’s rich cultural tapestry. All genres will be featured: fiction, documentary, art films and animation, further enriching the already impressive line-up scheduled for National Canadian Film Day 150.
