French Classes

The ACFSJ regularly offers beginner, intermediate and advanced courses in French.

The small classes provide an excellent learning environment and encourage discussion between teachers and students.

The fall 2010 session begins the week of September 27th. Register by September 24th.

All courses include 20 hours of instruction. Course fees are $200 ($190 for ACFSJ members). Customized private classes are also available at a cost of $40 per hour. French Beginner 1 – from September 27^th to December 13^th (Gennita Bartlett)

Mondays from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

French Beginner 2 – from September 27^th to December 13^th (Gennita Bartlett)

Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

French Intermediate 1 – from September 29^th to December 15^th (Wayne Barbour)

Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

French Intermediate 2 – from September 29^th to December 15^th (Wayne Barbour)

Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m.

Advanced Conversational French: from September 28^th to December 15^th (Claire Wilkshire)

Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
(Prerequisite: You have a desire/need to practice using your Oral French. You have an undergraduate degree in French or considerable experience in communicating in French)

Cancellations and Refunds

Registrations cancelled before the end of the registration period: 100% refund
Registrations cancelled before the second class: 50% refund.
No refunds after the second week of classes.
If a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrolment or for any other reason, a full refund will be offered immediately.
