The library and Community Access Program at the Centre des Grands-Vents is not merely a valuable resource for the students of the French school. The francophone community and general public of the St. John’s region can also benefit from its impressive collection of books, movies (VHS and DVD) and music for all ages. Free internet access is also available.
Hours: In the summer, the library is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 7 pm.

Tools to master French
- The Grand dictionnaire terminologique (GDT) is a terminological data bank, it gather together terms that belong to speciality areas.
- The Banque de dépannage linguistique (BDL) of OQLF proposes clear answers to more often asked questions about spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, vocabulary, typography, initials, abbreviations and symbols, proper nouns, pronunciation, writting and communication. This bank treat of general language questions; the BDL is distinguished from the Grand dictionnaire terminologique, that is the study of French definition and translation of thousand technical and scientific terms.
- TermiumPlus is a terminological and linguistic data bank with more than 3 900 000 terms in English, French and Spanish.
